Apprentice Level – $52.00 ($1/wk)
We take apart the process of worship music selection. We’ll explore common mistakes and issues faced by beginning church and school musicians. We’ll focus on the seasons of the liturgical year and best practices in making one flow smoothly into the next. We’ll also get into understanding copyright licensing, bulletin prep and the single, most critical key to your success – building relationships with choirs members and administrators.
Journey Level – $260.00 ($5/wk)
You get everything Apprentice Level members receive, plus a closer look at music’s seasonal and programing challenges. These lessons include slides shows and “how-to” articles on things like quick arranging techniques, ideas for fitting existing works to your particular needs and adapting contemporary music to traditional worship and vice versa. We’ll work some on composition and arranging for your choirs – school or church. These lessons are available at least once or twice a month and you will be notified when something new is posted.

Master Level – $520.00 ($10/wk)
Master Level members receive all information from the previous membership levels plus advanced study of worship music in Christian traditional and contemporary settings. We’ll also look at the music of other faith traditions (e.g. Buddhists chants, Sikh music, etc.). Masters join in-depth discussions on how to deal with changing trends in church music, get project worksheets that walk you through various issues like new tech (working with Finale), composition and arranging. We’ll look at effective ways to use social media for promotion and marketing. We’ll explore presentation design, help each other in a confidential Master Level members forum where we’ll look at challenges facing individual church and school music directors. There will be occasional video instruction. Master Level membership includes 4 individual email or 30-minute Skype consultation sessions once a quarter with Sheldon Curry.
