"Bricolage" is a French word meaning "something constructed or created from a diverse range of available things".
For our purposes, it means "hodge-podge."
This video page is a collection of various videos roughly divided into three categories.
- How I do stuff: An in-depth look at the nuts and bolts of how I do what I do. Here you'll find lessons focused on arranging, re-arranging to suit your needs, computer software (Finale, recording platforms, etc), organization, and other issues that may help you function more efficiently.
- Performances: In this area, we look at amateur performances of church and school musicians. Visitors submit some of these; others I choose for some hopefully helpful reason.
- Navigating troubled waters: Examine issues like copyright law compliance and licensing for recording, broadcast and sale. We look at borderless music genres. Collaborating effectively with administrators, clergy, and non-music types.
Note: If you're trying to find some subject in general try using a keyword in the search function on this page.
