Chant is as ancient as human life. There is no culture, no religion on this planet that does not incorporate music and chant into everyday life. We simply don’t recognize it. Here you’ll find many forms of chant. Some are Psalms, some are from other faith traditions, some are purely meditative. I’ll divide them into sections that make sense to me. Hopefully they will to you. If you’re unsure about how they fit in worship contact me and I’ll walk you through it. Psalm were meant to be sung, not spoken!

CHANT
Where charity and love are (communion chant) (CLICK TO OPEN)
This very simple chant seems to work well during communion. Repeat it as often as you like, being sensitive to the spirit in the room and changing little things about voicing and depth of the sound as you go along. You can sing it for 5 minutes or 15 minutes – it works either way. Email me and let me know what you do with it.
